The List of Measures to Support Elementary Schools in Optimizing Their Meal Programs was developed as part of the national program “Eat Right from the Start! (Richtig essen von Anfang an!)” (REVAN) and served as the basis for a pilot project conducted by the ÖGK from 2021 to 2024.
The goal of the project was to develop and test a support program for elementary schools aimed at sustainably improving the quality of school meals. The focus was on a participatory approach, bei dem alle relevanten Akteurinnen und Akteure – von Schulen über Verpflegungsanbieter:innen bis hin zu weiteren Partnerorganisationen – aktiv eingebunden wurden.
