Ingredients for 2 servings
- 180 g rice (uncooked)
- 300 g peas
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- 2 slices of cooked, low-fat ham
- 200 ml tomato sauce
- 2 basil leaves
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
- Parsley, salt, pepper
- 1 tbsp Parmesan

Prepare the rice according to the package instructions.

the tomato sauce, peas, and herbs. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the rice with pea sauce and freshly grated Parmesan.
Tip:
This sauce is also perfect for a classic pasta dish. Instead of rice, you can use whole-grain or spelt pasta, for example.
